The vision of Christen im Beruf (CiB), the German branch of the international association FGBMFI Full Gospel Business Men‘s Fellowship International, is to encourage people from all professions to live their daily lives in a relationship with God and to experience His love. At the regular events held by our local chapters, you can discover how to find new strength, deep peace, and fresh courage through faith in Jesus Christ. Our team members are Christians from various churches and denominations. The Bible and faith in Jesus Christ are our unifying foundation. As an interdenominational association, we are represented by more than 4,000 local groups (chapters) in approximately 160 countries.

Bjarne ten Harkel

"I had little faith, but the door of my heart opened a crack"

Bjarne ten Harkel, 46 years old, from the Netherlands. Disappointed by God and Christians, Bjarne turned his back on his Christian upbringing and lived without faith. At night, often around one o'clock, he was regularly attacked by his partner. The constant violence led him to despair of life – until he died following a particularly brutal attack and encountered God.

Ian Reilly.

Born in Northern Ireland, Ian grew up in a violent home. He and his siblings were taken into care by the police and were later moved again after abuse was uncovered there. At the age of 18, Ian heard a street preacher speaking about a loving Father in heaven. Ian said to him: "I want that – where do I sign?"
